Someone has said, "Knowing Christ died--that's history. Believing He died
for me--that's salvation." A Personal relationship with God begins with an
event Jesus referred to as a new birth (John 3:3). Only when we are born
spiritually into God's family do we become His children, His friends, His
servants, and memvers of His spiritual kingdom.

1. ADMIT you are a sinner and that only Lord Jesus can save you. (Romans 3:23)

2. REPENT be willing to turn away from sin and submit to God. (Luke 13:5)

3. BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood
to pay the price for your sin and that He rose from the grave. (Romans 10:9)

4. ASK God to save you. (Romans 10:13)

5. INVITE Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy
Spirit. (Romans 10:13)


The actual words we say to God to recive this gift may vary. What is
important is that we believe God enough to be able to say:

Dear Lord Jesus,
    I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that 
You dide for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I invite You to come
into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior.
in Jesus name Amen.

No one is saved by trying to be good. We are saved by trusting in Jesus
Christ. The Bible says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest
anyone should Boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9)

This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ.  To deepen 
this relationship you should:

1. Read your Bible ever day to get to know Jesus Christ better.
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
3. Tell others about Jesus Christ.
4. Worship, fellowship and serve with other christians in a church were the 
Bible and Jesus Christ is preached.
5. As Christ's representative in a lost world demonstrate your new life by
your love and concern for others.
